Fujairah is the only emirate located entirely on the east coast, facing the Gulf of Oman. Its port is one of the world's largest bunkering hubs and a major centre for oil storage, which, together with the Fujairah Free Zone, shipping and logistics, drives much of local employment.
Jobs are concentrated in port operations, marine services, oil storage terminals, logistics, quarrying and construction materials, as well as tourism along the coast between Fujairah city and Dibba, with hotels and diving centres. Experience in shipping, terminal operations, HSE or maintenance is particularly valued. The emirate is linked to the west coast by road, but the distance means most people working in Fujairah also live on the east coast.
