The data we collect
If you browse without an account, we ask you for no information. Our hosting provider keeps technical logs (IP address, page requested, date) to keep the site secure and running.
If you create a candidate account, we store your email address, your name, your password in encrypted form (we never see it in plain text) and, if you add them, your phone number, city, headline, summary and LinkedIn profile. We also store the jobs you save and the applications you send.
If you create an employer account, we store your email address, your name, your company’s name and website, and the jobs you post.
When you apply to a job posted directly on JobSeek, your profile and message are sent to the employer who posted it. For all other jobs you apply on the employer’s own site: we send nothing.
Why we use it
- To run your account: sign-in, saved jobs, applications, job posting.
- To send your application to the employer concerned, at your request.
- To send you emails related to your account (application confirmation, job approval).
- To measure and improve the site’s audience.
- To show advertising, which funds the site and keeps it free for job seekers.
We do not sell your personal data.

The sid cookie is only set if you sign in. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked to accept or refuse analytics and advertising cookies before they are set; you can change your choice at any time from the “Privacy settings” link at the bottom of the page.
Google advertising
JobSeek shows ads provided by Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

How long we keep it
- Account and profile: until you delete your account, which you can do yourself at any time from your account page (“Delete my account”). Deleting it also erases your sessions, applications and saved jobs.
- Job listings: deleted 30 days after their closing date.
- Hosting logs: a few weeks.
Where your data is stored
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. The database is hosted by Neon (Europe region, Frankfurt). These providers act on our behalf and do not use your data for their own purposes.
Your rights
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and the GDPR for visitors from the European Union, you can access your data, correct it, object to its processing or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us at Contact address being set up..
