About the role: Operations manager

Operations managers make sure an organisation delivers its products or services efficiently, overseeing teams, processes, budgets and performance indicators. In the UAE, the title is found in logistics, hospitality, retail, facilities management, healthcare, manufacturing and services, while general managers and directors lead entire business units.

The scope depends heavily on the sector: running a warehouse or fleet, managing several restaurants or stores, overseeing a hotel's departments or a contact centre, or coordinating maintenance contracts across many sites. Many regional headquarters in Dubai and Abu Dhabi also recruit senior leaders with responsibility for several Gulf markets.
