About the role: Real estate
Real estate jobs cover the sale, leasing and management of property: brokers and property consultants, leasing agents, property managers, community and facilities managers, and roles in development, valuation and customer relations with developers.
Dubai has one of the world's most active property markets, and Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah have also seen sustained development. Brokerages hire sales and leasing agents in large numbers, developers recruit sales, handover and customer service teams, and property and facilities management companies look after buildings and communities once they are occupied.
Broker roles are often commission-based, sometimes with a modest basic salary, so read the package details carefully. A UAE driving licence, languages spoken by buyers and a network help. Property and facilities managers need knowledge of service charges, maintenance contracts and tenancy rules, and experience with property management software.

- Advise buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants
- List, market and show properties
- Negotiate offers and prepare contracts
- Manage tenancies, renewals and service requests

- Knowledge of local property regulations
- CRM and listing tools
- Several languages for international clients
- UAE driving licence for field roles
Licensing in the UAE
In Dubai, brokers must complete the training and exam required by the Dubai Land Department and register with RERA before practising. Abu Dhabi and the other emirates have their own licensing rules for brokers, so check what is required in the emirate where you will work.
