Air Arabia Cabin Crew Recruitment-UAE
Air Arabia PJSC
About the role: Aviation and aerospace
Aviation is a flagship industry in the UAE, with major international airlines, some of the busiest airports in the world and a growing aerospace manufacturing and maintenance sector. Jobs range from cabin crew and pilots to aircraft engineers, airport operations, ground handling, cargo and air traffic services.
Airlines based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah recruit cabin crew and pilots internationally, often through assessment days. Airports, ground handling and catering companies need large operational teams, while maintenance, repair and overhaul organisations and aerospace manufacturers hire licensed engineers and technicians. Dubai South, around Al Maktoum International Airport, is a further hub for aviation businesses.
Cabin crew roles focus on customer service, safety and adaptability to a multinational team and irregular rosters. Technical and flight roles require recognised licences and type ratings. Ground operations roles operate around the clock, so shift work is the norm across the sector.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure passenger safety and service on board
- Fly and operate aircraft to procedures
- Inspect, maintain and certify aircraft
- Coordinate ground handling, ramp and cargo operations
- Manage airport passenger and terminal services
Skills employers look for
- Fluent English; additional languages are valued
- Customer service and teamwork in a multicultural setting
- Relevant aviation licences and type ratings
- Strict adherence to safety procedures
- Flexibility for shifts and rosters
Licensing in the UAE
The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulates civil aviation in the UAE. Pilots and aircraft maintenance engineers need a GCAA licence or a validation of a foreign licence, and airlines run their own training for cabin crew who join without experience.
