About the role: ERP and SAP consultant

ERP and CRM consultants implement and improve the business software that runs finance, supply chain, sales, HR and customer service. They translate business needs into system configuration, lead workshops, test changes and support users after go-live.

In the UAE, consultants work for system integrators and consulting firms, software vendors and partners, and in-house IT teams at retailers, distributors, construction and real estate developers, airlines, energy companies and government entities. SAP and Oracle dominate large organisations, while Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Odoo are common in mid-sized companies.

Roles are either functional, focused on a module such as finance, procurement or HR, or technical, focused on development, integration and data migration. Knowledge of UAE-specific requirements, such as VAT and corporate tax reporting, payroll and the Wage Protection System, is valuable on local implementations.
